Advice For Parents Who Date

Dating single parents can be a great idea. When dating single parents, it's essential to have a flexible approach to the times you can meet, be understanding that meetups can be cancelled at the drop of a hat. Don't take things personally, or put off if a hookup or date is cancelled, these things can happen. There is always another time. Many single parents will not want to bring their children into the equation or even talk about them, so maybe leave that conversation for them to start. Remember, they are with you because they don't only want the company of a male, and possibly romance, but many also don't want to be treated any differently just because they have kids.

Most of the time, we hear our members are just looking for "a bit of fun" and want to keep things casual unless both parties decide to move the relationship onto something more serious. Single moms have a hard enough time of it bringing up up their children without any stigma of them trying to trap a father figure into a relationship being attached to them. Women are just like men in the sense they "have needs" that need satisfying.

Don't Think You Need To Treat Anyone With Kids Gloves.
